Causes:

New machines were created

Atmospheric engine(Thomas Newcomen)

 James watt improved Newcomen version with a separate condenser

 Spinning Jenny, first machine which produce yarn

 Water frame

The water frame and spinning jenny were transformed  in one machine,“mule”, so invented a better  steam  loom.

 Characteristics:

In 1700 with the new machine changed the textile industry

 Spinners and weavers went to work to the factories and left the cottages

 Mills and factories were built.

 Consequences:

 Positive:

As spinners and weavers left their cottages, the urbanization started to grow.

 Instead of producing things by hands they started making them with machines.

 Produced more  cloths in less time.

 Negative:

Workers had bosses.

 They worked a lot of hours.

They received very few money.

Natural Resources

 Causes:

 GB had the natural resources (coal and iron) that industry need.

Characteristics:

 GB had natural harvours

GB had the transportation.

 The  mines were near the seas so ships could carry the coal easily .

  All the major rivers were navigable.

 Consequences:

 Positive:

Coal gave more energy than wood.

Coal produced the energy to the steam machine.

 GB colonies supplied raw goods to the factories in a cheap price.

All colonies exports went to GB and all the colonies  imports came from GB.

 Negative:

 The demand of coal grew ,so the deeper mines were full of water ,so they had to pump the water out of the mines.

VENí CHIQUITITO

Había una vez un chico llamado Pepe que tenía 12 años y era muy flaco también en la casa estaba la madre que tenía pelo muy sedoso y era muy sobreprotectora. Pepe se sentía muy avergonzado frente a sus amigos porque la mamá le decía sobrenombres frente a ellos. Sus amigos se reían a carcajadas con caras de que no podían respirar ni hablar con nadie, se movía como resortes de un lado a otro. Entonces un día le dice Pepe a su mamá:
_Mamá no me digas más sobrenombres.
_Pero si sos mi “chiquitito”_ dice la mamá
_ ¡VES! Odio eso, ya tengo 12 años. Chau me voy a dormir_ dice Pepe.
Al otro día la madre y él ni se querían ver. Después de 8 días él se sintió que su vida no tenía alegría sin los sobrenombres así que le pide a su mamá que le siga diciendo “chiquitito”, primero ella se negó, pero cuando Pepe le dijo lo que sentía entonces cambio de opinión, la madre le siguió diciendo sobrenombres y el niño no se quejó más. Todos terminaron felices.

EL RINOCERONTE DE ORO

La criada era una chica sonadora, distante e insistente. Su piel era suave y estaba llena de emociones por el público y sus patrones que le aplaudían .La criada tenia rinocerontes amaestrados, un día un rinoceronte se murió, llena de melancolía tristeza su imaginación iba perdiendo color. Pensaba cosas románticas pero a su vez se llenaba de aburrimiento. Un día cuando ya era muy vieja se murió y vio al rinoceronte de vuelta, de sus ojos caían lágrimas.
